Hectic Life Got You Down?

Want to learn how to slow down the world you live in?
Even if just for a minute?

There was a time when life was much simpler.  Husbands went to work.  Moms stayed home with the children, took care of the household, helped with homework, and made dinner. Then Moms and Dads would sit on the porch and drink coffee while watching their children play for hours.

And somewhere along the way... life became much more complicated.

Family members began moving to a different city or state for better opportunities.  Workdays were extended from 8 to 12 or 15 hour days. Schools assigned more homework, added in extracurricular activities like sports, choir, band practice, etc.

Throw in the Internet and all the distractions the digital world provides via computers, iPods, smartphones, and game consoles… it’s no wonder our attention spans are short and our lives feel out of control and empty.

Have you ever wanted a better life for your family that didnʻt include running from one rushed moment to the next?

The universe has many laws. Like the Law of Gravity or the Law of Positives and Negatives. These laws are unchangeable. We have to learn how to live our lives abiding by these laws. And these laws apply to us all. The universe is no respecter of persons… prince or pauper, saint or sinner, no matter the color of your skin or where you were born.

But here’s the root of what really matters… the Law of Sowing and Reaping.

When we plant corn seeds, we get corn. And if you plant thistles, you won’t get peas or tomatoes, will you? Whatever seeds you plant, that’s exactly what you will harvest.

Now, you don’t have to believe that’s true. You can even deny that universal law is true if you like. It won’t change the fact that what gets harvested at the end of the season is what you planted many months before. You will reap what you sow.

The same is true for what we speak. You can speak happiness, blessings, life, health, abundance, and prosperity. Or you can speak hate, strife, death, sickness, poverty, and scarcity. The words we choose to speak will either bind us or set us free.

When you look back and evaluate your life, where you are today, and how you got there… ask yourself this question: “What did I sow?”

Do you have friends? You sowed the seeds of friendship with others.

Do you constantly have drama, turmoil, and confusion in your life? You sowed those seeds somewhere in your past.

The true foundation of the Law of Sowing and Reaping is this.... You can change the harvest by sowing the things you desire.

You are so powerful. So are your words. The words you speak have the force to bring life or death for yourself and others. And the same is true of our thoughts and intentions.

In fact, everyone has that power inside… to NOT be chained by our negative words, thoughts, or intentions. It’s down deep in our center where our calm resides.

Yes, there IS a calm in all of us. But we’ve forgotten how to tap into our unique reservoir of resources that exists solely for our own purpose, to self-care.

All you need is someone to teach you how to create habits that bring this calm reserve to the forefront and not lose focus on that center when life tries to rock your boat. You need to dwell in your reserve of peaceful calm, consistently. And I’m just the person to help you right yourself so it’s smooth sailing from here on out.
